About Munch

Built by a restaurant operator who lived the problem.

Munch began with a simple conviction: restaurant technology should reduce the operator's burden, not divide the business across more disconnected systems.

From operator to founder

The idea took shape in the daily operation.

At Oak & Vine, Billy saw how quickly a straightforward operating question could become a search across systems. Sales lived in the POS. Schedules lived somewhere else. Inventory, accounting, and compliance each demanded separate attention—while the restaurant still had to prepare, serve, and adapt in real time.

That experience changed the question from “Which tool is missing?” to “Why does none of this work together?”

Munch grew from the belief that restaurant technology should create a shared operating picture. Owners should understand what is changing, managers should know where to focus, and teams should receive support that fits the rhythm of service.

Why Munch exists

One restaurant. One operating picture.

Each Munch capability is designed to contribute to the same restaurant memory—so a change in sales, labor, inventory, or compliance can be understood in context and acted on with confidence.

01

Connect the operation.

Sales, labor, inventory, financial performance, and compliance should inform one another instead of living in separate systems.

02

Give managers useful context.

Information should lead to clearer schedules, better labor control, earlier warnings, and specific next actions—not another dashboard to interpret alone.

03

Keep operators in control.

MunchMind explains patterns and recommends actions while the restaurant's leaders retain judgment, approval, and responsibility for the operation.

The founding idea

“Restaurant technology should connect the decisions, not create more places to look.”

Munch is being built to turn fragmented operating data into clear questions, useful explanations, and practical next steps—without taking judgment away from the people running the restaurant.
